CL 0004 The Stoned Walls, Co Clare This scene is from Co Clare, And is just one of the many walls still being build like this today across Ireland. This wall was on a mountain top, and has been done by hand by the local farmer to keep his cattle in. He told me that its a very old wall and some are over 300 years old in the area, Today this is one of only a few traditional Irish crafts still being done by hand,Just as it would of been done 100s of years ago.
